An Untold Secret To The Law Of Attraction

June 29th, 2009

Following on from my last article about the Law of Attraction. (see below for details on this Blog). I want to now go over something that many of the books out there do not tell you regarding how to attract things into your life.

As I mentioned in my last article, just wanting something will mean you will never get it, there is much more to it than that.

This article is going to cover some more steps you MUST take if you want to begin attracting the things you truly want to have in life.

To begin with, let us understand how the Law of Attraction works.

We all have “thoughts”, thousands of them each day. Our “Belief Thoughts” are what attract things to us. Most of us do not realize what our “belief thoughts” are.

These are fed into us over time from our parents, our teachers, our friends, family, priests, religions, media etc. Some of these thoughts stay with us without us knowing about them.

“Money is the root of all Evil”

“Knowledge is Wisdom”

“No one ever got rich by being honest”

“If you want to get on in life then get a good education”

These are just a few but there are hundreds more.

As we grow up and embark on making our own way in life, these “belief thoughts”, which are confirmed by others we meet in life, then take control and begin to manifest everything in our life.

Changing these “belief thoughts” is for most, the hardest thing to do.

So, below are some tips to help you achieve your goals and actually end up getting what it is you want to have in life.

When people write their goals, they always write in the “do” sense. On other words, they set their goal and then work out what it is they have to “do” in order to achieve those goals.

It is also a fact that people go through life always in the “do” zone, always doing things or doing something to achieve an end result.

I believe this is the biggest problem people have when trying to achieve goals and have the things in life they actually desire.

All the time you are “doing”, you are missing out on the most important ingredient of the Law of Attraction.

To achieve your goals in life and have everything you desire, you must stop living in the “do” zone and move over to the “be” zone.

Stop doing things in order to achieve your desires and start acting as though you have already achieved them.

If you want to own a new house or make $100,000 a year, stop doing things to get to that point in your life, and start acting as though you already have that in your life.

The basic problem with nearly all people is that when setting their goals or choosing their desires, they always have a fear of not achieving them, or losing them if they do achieve them.

By changing your “do” attitude to that of a “be” attitude, you remove the fear, because you convince your sub-conscious that you already have them. When the fear is removed, it doesn’t matter if you lose them, and because of losing that fear, you will actually end up with much more than you first wanted to have.

Just acting without belief though will not work, you have to believe with sincerity that you already have that wish you desire to have.

Learning to do this is not easy and for some, they will never be able to do it.

Start by changing the belief thoughts you have learned over the years.

“Money is the root of evil” becomes, “Lack of money is the root of all evil”.

“Knowledge is Wisdom” becomes, “Knowledge and experience is wisdom”.

“No one ever got rich by being honest” becomes, “No one ever got rich by being dishonest”

“If you want to get on in life then get a good education” becomes, “If you want to get on in life, then gain experience”.

It takes time to change your belief thoughts. Do not expect it to happen overnight, but unless you take action to change them, you will go through life and experience everything your belief thoughts throw at you.

To your success!

The Sad Truth Is YOU Will Never Get Anything You Want

June 24th, 2009

The Law of Attraction and The Secret tell us that we can have whatever we want in life. If you have seen The Secret Movie then you will understand.

Just think about what it is you want, visualise yourself having it and then forget it. It will then magically appear! Don’t worry about how you will get it or what you will have to do to get it, those reasons will eventually become clear, and then hey presto!

Although the thesis behind this is correct is some ways, the real truth is, for all those who concentrate on what is it they “want”, they will never, and I mean NEVER get what it is they want.

The Law of Attraction talks about the Universe and how it cannot refuse you anything. That is true, it will always give you what you think about the most.

So if you are always thinking about wanting something, that is exactly what you will get! You will always be wanting it and never get it!

Let me explain that in layman terms to help you understand better.

When you say to yourself “I WANT a Million dollars” you are making a statement not just to yourself, but also to the Universe.

The power word here is “I” and whatever word follows from “I” is the word the Universe will react to.

So after the word “I” in this example, comes the word “WANT”. In order for the Universe to obey your command it must give you the feeling of “WANT”. Of course, if it gave you that Million dollars, you would no longer “WANT” it, so therefore it will never give you that million because it is obeying your command and making you “WANT” it.

So, providing you now understand that “Wanting” something means you will never get it, what is it you should be saying in order to actually get it?

Well, if you say “I HAVE a Million dollars” that would not work either. Why? Because you know inside you do not have the million and therefore the feeling you attach to your thought is false and the command will not be sent out in the right direction to make it become your reality.

So, here is a small tip for you to use when setting your goals and positive thoughts. Never use the word “WANT” when thinking about the things you would like to have in life. Always work in the “NOW” and not in the future.

Try using this statement instead of your present “want” statements.

” I will soon have a Million dollars in my bank account”.

Another statement could be, ” I have a million dollars coming to me”.

By using these statements to the Universe it will look at the words after the power word “I” and then obey your command. In other words, it will go to work on attracting a Million dollars to your bank account.

Of course, there are some other things that need to be in place before it will magically appear of course. Belief, emotion, gratefulness and above all, “LOVE”!

Summer madness is here again!

June 19th, 2009

As the official beginning of summer approaches, (Sunday 21st June), it seems like dozens of new programs are being launched to coincide with it!

Although I do not condone this, it is a shame for many people starting out who sign up for a program, only to find their sponsors sending them email after email about new programs about to launch.

Many of these people jump in with the hope of getting in early to increase their chances of making it big time. Sadly, for nearly all of them, it never materializes and they suddenly find themselves confused and totally frustrated.

It is ok to join other programs of course, but not every two to three weeks for heavens sake. Give yourself a chance at building one strong income stream before moving onto another!

I like to compare this industry with starting a new job. Do you think you would leave that new job and move to another every few weeks? Of course you wouldn’t, and if you are new to MLM, it takes time to learn about this business, just the same as it takes time to learn about a new job you have!

I am not trying to prevent people from doing this, as everyone makes their own decisions and are ultimately responsible for their own lives. I just want people to know and understand what the consequences of their actions will be.

Enjoy the upcoming summer.

Business and Pleasure in Hamburg

June 9th, 2009

Last Wednesday I travelled to Hamburg. Germany with my family. We mixed
business and pleasure together for a short 4 day trip.

On the Saturday evening we visited Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg. Some of my
friends would say I need to buy two tickets when going to the Zoo. One to get
in, and one to get out!

We bought a family ticket for €50 and my kids got to see some of the animals
below.

I am in one of those photos but I am not saying which one!

Here is a short video of the quaint little Snow White House we stayed in.
good fun for the kids. The beds were a bit hard though!

Until next time.

One Vital Secret You Must Know About Link Building

May 26th, 2009

If you’re seriously interested in knowing about backlinks, you need to think beyond the basics.

It seems like new information is discovered about something every day. And the topic of backlinking is no exception.

Does it ever frustrate you when a site that has 10 backlinks can beat your site that has 100? Or you will look at a site that does not have very many backlinks and wonder how in the world it can rank so high with search engines.

The answer to this question is a secret that the SEO gurus will not tell you.

First, you need to understand the fundamental reasoning behind backlinks and how they affect your SEO.

When someone links to your site from their site, it is like they are voting for you. Search engines will take these “votes” into consideration when they determine how high you rank.

Think of it as having someone put in a good word for you when you are applying for a job. If the boss has 10 people come to him and recommend you for the job and he has 2 people come and recommend someone else for the job, chances are that he will choose the person that has more people recommending him.

That is how it usually works, but what happens if one person has 10 ex-cons recommending him and the other person has only one person recommending him - but that one person happens to be the mayor of the town?  Which recommendation do you think the boss is going to place more weight with?

The same thing happens with backlinks from other sites. If one website owner has thousands of backlinks from questionable sites, he will not rank nearly as high as a website owner that only has 10 backlinks from reputable sites that are considered an authority site.

People can buy links by the hundreds or thousands from link farms and other worthless sites. The search engines know this, and they take this into consideration when they follow the links from other sites to yours and they determine the quality of the backlinks.

This is why it is so crucial to develop your backlinks with care. You need to make sure that you know who is linking to you and who you are linking to.

If you’ve picked some pointers about backlinks that you can put into action, then by all means, do so. You won’t really be able to gain any benefits from your new knowledge if you don’t use it.

Network Marketing - The Truth Revealed

May 23rd, 2009

Here is a section from my Free Report I wrote some weeks ago. “Network Marketing - The Truth Revealed”

You can get the whole report for free without having to give your name or email address.

http://garykidd.com/nmreport/

You know when I look back at how I was, what I thought mostly about, what my dreams were back then, I never really believed that some day I would create the success that I have now.

You see I was brought up in England. I was told that I needed an education, get good qualifications, get a good job etc, etc. Well, I got the basic qualifications and then got a good job with the Post Office with many opportunities for advancement.

I lasted about one year. I realized fast that the corporate world of business was not for me. Having to be at the same desk at the same time each day, having to commute by train each day into London and either be told when I could take vacations or have time off, seemed to me to be down right dumb!

My friends had gone out and got good jobs. They seemed to want that and many of them today are still doing the same thing. They appear to be happy, so good luck to them. But for me, I wanted something else.

I was once told, when I was around 18 years old, by a wise old man I met during a short spell of selling Life Assurance. He said to me, “Find something you love to do and I guarantee you will never work a single day in your life!”

I didn’t really fully understand what he had said at the time, but now, some 29 years later, I completely understand and I am fortunate to be in that position right now.

It took me a long time to realise what it was I wanted to do. I became a qualified roofing surveyor and also a master tradesman for flat roofing. I ran some “Successful” businesses in England and was a great believer in running your own business and being your own boss.

In 1989 when I lost my business along with 3 houses I owned and a beautiful car I truly loved, I began to wonder if it was all worth it.

My friends were still working for someone else and seemed a lot happier than I was. They owned their own homes, were married, had kids, etc, etc.

There I was with nothing to show for all the hard work I had done, except a huge mountain of debt.

After a short failed marriage I moved to Germany in 1996. I set up my own business here in construction and after a while I had over 30 men working for me. Things were beginning to get better for me once more. I met my wife Yvonne, got married and our son was born in 1999.

My business though kept me away from home most of the time and I hardly saw my son during his first few years. My business also ran into financial difficulties. I was not getting paid for the work we were doing, but using my own money to pay my men. Once again, I found it very stressful, and very frustrating.

”There has to be a better way” was all I could think of.

Mention MLM And They Run A Mile!

May 11th, 2009

If you are new to MLM and trying to find your feet as such, talking face to face to people or even over the phone can be not just a scary thought, but the anticipation of your prospect asking you questions you are not sure how to answer is the greatest fear most new people have.

Alongside that, when you meet people and mention you have started an MLM business, chances are they will run a mile!

What do you say to someone who says, “Is this a pyramid scheme?”

What do you say to someone who says, “How will Network Marketing help me?”

What do you say to someone who asks you explain what MLM is?

The truth is, when you start out in this industry it takes time to learn the answers to these questions. However, there is a far easier way for all MLM people.

Now I know that sounds easy, but in reality it does work. However, I do not mean doing a full out presentation and talking your prospect into complete boredom!

Take this Test To See If You Will Succeed…

April 27th, 2009

Recently a lot of people have asked me to explain why some people can seem to succeed quickly, and for others it never gets off the ground. For some, they don’t even get started!!

Well, below is a simple little test you can take yourself. It is only one question but you have to answer it as honestly as possible. Afterwards there is some more stuff to help you.

So, here is the question to ask yourself…

You have looked at an opportunity and you like it. You can see the potential. When you ask how much it costs to join, you find out it is $150 to start and then you need to have a monthly autoship of $75 minimum.

How do you answer this?

1).  $150 and $75 month? That is more than I can really afford right now, and if I don’t make money fast, I will still have to pay $75 a month!

or

2).  $150 and $75 a month? If I take action with this and work hard, I could turn that $150 into $450 and that $75 into $300 a month or more quiet fast.

If you answered honestly, and if you lied you are only lying to yourself, then I can tell you what person you are and what person you are likely to become.

If you answered 1)., then you are unsuccessful now and you will probably remain that way until you change the way you think about everything in your life.

If you answered 2)., then you already have the right way of thinking in place. It is possible you are already successful, but if not providing you keep your thinking this way, you will without doubt succeed.

You see the only real difference between those who succeed, and those who do not, is the way in which they think about things. Successful people always look at positive things, that includes people and opportunities. Unsuccessful people are always looking at things with a negative viewpoint and generally find reasons NOT to do something as opposed to finding reasons WHY they should do something.

Ask yourself honestly which type of person you really are deep down.

Part of the journey toward success is understanding what type of person you are now, and learning what it is you have to change to become the type of person you want to be!

Hope you enjoyed that and please pass it on to your friends.
